1. That is the see of Rome.
2. Exucse me. I'm seeing a man about a dog.
3. I don't see eye to eye with him.
4. He's not easy to be fooled. He has seen the elephant.
5. I saw the lions of London yesterday.
1
That is the see of Rome.
2
Exucse me. I’m seeing a man about a dog.
这里 see a man about a dog 是美国口语
see a man about a horse
I've just got to visit the ladies' room to see a man about a horse.
No!
新技能,get?
3
I don't see eye to eye with him.
see eye to eye 真正的意思是 to agree with someone; to share someone's position or opinion,即“观点一致,意见相同”。
His mother and I don't see eye to eye about his decision to drop out of college
4
He’s not easy to be fooled. He has seen the elephant.
【see the elephant 见世面】
I've seen the elephant.
5
I saw the lions of London yesterday.
